I'm always on the lookout for new amazing natural and cruelty-free brands! I've been so lucky to be able to receive a few products from Lotus Cosmetics! Although they sent these products to me I will always be honest in my reviews. They sent me three products their finishing powder, lipstick in the color Roseberry, and lip gloss in the color Candy! I haven't heard much about this brand. I searched around for some reviews and I found a couple really good ones! I have to say after trying these products I really look forward to purchasing some products! This brand seems to be very underrated! First of all this packaging is beautiful! I was so amazed at how nice it was when I first opened it up. I was really nervous when I first looked at the finishing powder because the shade was called 'dafodil'. I had never tried a yellow toned finishing powder because I am pretty pale! But the color was a very light yellow. You can tell it's yellow but it works really well on me and I think if you were even paler than me it would work! This finishing powder felt SO nice. I was also worried because my skin is dry so setting powders can be extra drying. I didn't necessarily bake with this powder I used my damp beauty sponge to tap some of the powder under my eyes and immediately wiped it away. I was so pleased with how it looked! It was so soft and really brightened my under eyes. I don't have a huge problem with creasing but this kept them from creasing all day! So I think the powder is a really great product! I would be careful if you have super dry skin but I think that's something you'll have with any powder! It's 20$ for the powder, I think it's worth it and I do plan on repurchasing this! The next thing I want to talk about is the lipstick in Roseberry! The lipstick is super pigmented and feels super moisturizing! You need a lip liner with this lipstick because it will go everywhere if you don't but that's no big deal you need a lip liner with a lot of lipsticks. It's not very long lasting so make sure if you pick it up to take it with you for touch ups! The lipstick is 15$ and I think if you like lipstick and wear it often definitely try it! Last but not least is the lip gloss in Candy! It smells SO GOOD. It smells super fruity, so if you're sensitive to smells I probably wouldn't suggest this. But I love it! This lip gloss is SO pigmented. When I first put it on I was shocked. It's not super glossy. It almost feels like a tinted balm. But it's really nice and stays on for a decent amount of time. I would still recommend taking it with you for touch ups. But I really like this lip gloss and plan on buying a few more shades. The lip gloss is 13$ and it is really worth the price. The smell and pigment is really amazing and makes it worth it. Which surprises me because I think there are plenty of really good cheap lip glosses! This one is definitely worth trying. Overall I am so pleased with these products and I can't wait to try more! Thanks so much for taking the time to read my review! Make sure if you enjoyed it to subscribe to my emails! I promise I won't fill your inbox I will just send you weekly updates on what I blogged about that week!
